St Anthony's Primary School is upgrading our Bukit Batok facilities to meet the demands of learning in the 21st Century. The upgraded campus will include an Indoor Sports Hall, a fitness/ science playground, a science trail, dance studios and new levels of classrooms. We need your support to meet the 5% that Government-aided schools need to pay toward upgrading costs.
For health and safety reasons, pupils going overseas during the mid-year holidays are required to log onto the MC Online portal to complete and submit a Travel Declaration Form. Please do so before the end of Term 2.
If you have not decided if your will travel yet, you may still do so once your plans are confirmed.
Our Police Liaison Officer has informed us that the SPF would be taking firm action against drivers making illegal right-turns at the T-junction between Yuhua Primary and Crest Secondary.
The LTA has also informed us that they would be making frequent patrols along the access road to St Anthony’s Primary and Crest Secondary.
Drivers are advised to adhere to traffic laws.
Thank you for making the roads safer for our Anthonians.
We thank parents who have heeded our advice to reach the school after 1835hrs and to make the U-turn in our car park. We thank also, parents who have shared their concerns with us.
As we have been able to dismiss the pupils quickly when the road is clear, we are happy to report that the parents may begin to drive into the compound from 1825hrs onwards.
We would like to take this opportunity to address some concerns raised:
Would my child wander off if I’m not waiting when they come down from the hall?
As part of our commitment to a greener environment, 10 Anthonians participated in the YED Art Competition held on 9 April 2013 at CHIJ Our Lady Queen of Peace. The theme of the competition was‘The Clean Singapore’ and participants were allowed to use the recycled materials to enhance their drawing. Our Anthonians did us proud and walked away with 3 prizes: 2nd (Gan Chi Kiat, P5-2), Merit (Joey Wong, P5-3) and Consolation (Que Bowen, P5-1). Congratulations to all for their creativity!
